Building off of the massive success of the 49ers Rush 4.9K, the Golden Heart 4.9K strengthens one of the most popular 49ers fan events while supporting a great cause – The Golden Heart Fund. Participate individually, with a team, or get the whole family involved! All participants will receive a race tee and finisher medal as well as free admittance into the post party. There will be special guest appearances by 49ers legends – expect some familiar faces to take part in the race! The event includes an expanded vendor expo, 49ers Museum presented by Sony experience, and autograph opportunities!

Participants will receive an event t-shirt, a finisher’s medal, a grand finish at the 49-yard line, and free entry into the post party!

THE JUNIOR RUN
Get the whole family involved in the action. The Junior Run is a one mile walk/run, recommended for kids 14 and under, but open to all ages.
THE 49K RELAY
Teams of 11 members — 10 runners and one honorary alumni player or VIP as a coach — will race along the 4.9K course using a “golden” football as the baton.

- Price includes: official race T-shirt, finisher medal, and refreshments at the finish.
- Registration fees are non-refundable. If you would like to transfer your bib to another participant, a $15 fee is charged.
- Pick up your bib, timing tags, and t-shirt at Packet Pick-Up; photo IDs required.
- 4.9K Participants must be at least 7 years old.
- Registration limited. Registration will be available at Packet Pick-Up and event day if the event is not sold out.
- T-shirts are not guaranteed for event day sign-ups. T-shirts sizing is not guaranteed for anyone who does not pick-up their packet at Packet Pick-up.
- For the safety of all participants, athletes may not give or sell their entry to anyone as a part of a non-approved transfer. Anyone caught attempting to sell or transfer their race entry/bib to another person or participate in using another participant’s race entry/bib as part of a non-approved transfer, will have the race entry/bib revoked, be disqualified, and be removed from the race without refund.
