EARTHQUAKES ANNOUNCE TICKETING AND FAN FEST INFORMATION FOR RETURN TO LEVI’S® STADIUM VS. LAFC
Biggest Cinco de Mayo celebration on the West Coast returns with full-capacity stadium, Fan Fest featuring Oswaldo Sánchez, and more
Santa Clara, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes will return to Levi’s® Stadium for their regular-season match vs. Los Angeles Football Club on Saturday, May 4 (4:30 p.m. PT), presented by Audi. The showdown is back with the stadium extended to full capacity, as well as a Fan Fest featuring Mexican National Team legend Oswaldo Sánchez and other celebrities to highlight the biggest Cinco de Mayo celebration on the West Coast. More special attractions, including the halftime musical performer, will be announced in the upcoming weeks.
The Earthquakes will open Levi’s® Stadium to its full capacity of 68,500 seats in preparation for a sellout crowd. A future host site for Copa America in 2024 and the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the venue has built a world-class reputation for high-profile soccer matches. The Quakes aim to build upon last year’s success when over 45,000 fans packed Levi’s® Stadium on May 6, 2023, for a 2-1 victory over then-reigning Audi MLS Cup champion LAFC.
This year’s event will kick off with a pregame Fan Fest featuring meet-and-greet opportunities with former Mexico National Team legend Oswaldo Sánchez as well as other celebrities and influencers, including Reynoso and Soltero of The Give N Go Podcast, social media sensations San Jose Foos, and various TikTok stars. The Fan Fest will also include a live performance from San Jose natives Sueñatrón, food celebrating Mexican culture, and more. Additional information will be announced later.
Sánchez is regarded by many as one of the best goalkeepers in Mexican history. His achievements include a 2005 FIFA Confederations Cup Golden Glove, three Liga MX titles (2006, 2008, 2012), holding the record for most penalty shots saved in the Mexican Primera División (25), and two Concacaf Gold Cup championships (1996, 2003). Sánchez represented Mexico in 99 appearances and three FIFA World Cups (1998, 2002, 2006).
Reynoso and Soltero founded The Give N Go podcast in November of 2021, with the goal to spread their love and passion for the sport while speaking about the game with an insightful and objective point of view. The podcast has amassed over 300,000 combined followers on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, with the latter account approaching 11 million likes.
An exclusive presale for Earthquakes Season Ticket Holders will begin on Tuesday, Jan. 9, at 10 a.m. PT before tickets are made available to the general public on Thursday, Jan. 11, at 10 a.m. PT.
