School-Themed Signature Dishes To Arrive At Levi’s Stadium For 2019 CFP National Championship
Ahead of the 2019 College Football Playoff National Championship, Levy and Levi’sÒ Stadium today announced special school-themed signature dishes that will be served on Monday, January 7th, 2019, to compliment the match up between Alabama and Clemson.
Levy senior executive chef Jon Severson has crafted dishes inspired by each team that will be served at the Coin Toss Kiosk on Touchdown Terrace and throughout stadium clubs:
- Alabama Slamma: Chopped Brookwood brisket on a grilled Silva hot link, with sloe gin barbecue sauce and creamy red cabbage slaw piled on a branded “A” bun
- Ginger Beef Tiger Sliders: Grilled tri-tip, melted brie, cranberry balsamic chutney, and arugula from Levi’s Stadium’s Faithful Farm rooftop garden on a branded “Tiger” bun
Fans attending the CFP National Championship can also dig into the fresh seafood and welcoming Bay Area flavors that define Levi’s Stadium eats.
- Bay Area Tots: Crispy tater tots topped with bay shrimp, white Cheddar cheese sauce, scallions, and old bay seasoning
- Dungeness Crab Pretzel: Knuckle and claw meat mixed with garlic aioli, dijon, and chives on a fresh butter-toasted pretzel baguette
Touchdown Terrace will also feature favorite Bay Area and West Coast flavors from The Chairman, Copita, Mina’s, and Salt & Straw.
Levy has added more than 550 points-of-sale in preparation for the game, harvested approximately 500 pounds of produce from Levi’s Stadium’s own Faithful Farm – including kale, chard and mustard greens, and anticipates serving more than 2,000 pounds of smoked pulled pork and brisket for college football’s biggest game.
