In a week where rivalries began to take center stage and a battle of Top-10 teams stole the headlines, the Pac-12 and Big Ten provided plenty of excitement in Week 7.

Sat. Oct. 15

Aaron Williams’s interception with 30 seconds left sealed the victory for the unbeaten Cornhuskers (6-0, 3-0) over the Hoosiers (3-3, 1-2).  

Illinois (2-4, 1-2) RB Kendrick Foster rushed for 108 yards and one touchdown in the win over Rutgers (2-5, 0-4). 
 

Minnesota (4-2, 1-2) RB Rodney Smith rushed for 144 yards and two touchdowns, carrying the Gophers over the Terrapins (4-2, 1-2).    

Hawkeye QB C.J. Beathard accounted for three touchdowns (two passing, one rushing) as Iowa (5-2, 3-1) held off Purdue’s (3-3, 1-2) late charge in the fourth quarter.

WR Solomon Vault’s 95-yard kick return touchdown put Northwestern (3-3, 2-1) in the lead for good late in the 3^rd quarter as the Wildcats stunned Michigan State (2-4, 0-3) in East Lansing.

Ohio State (6-0, 3-0) QB J.T. Barrett scored three total touchdowns (one passing, two rushing) as the Buckeyes rallied for an overtime win at Wisconsin (4-2, 1-2).    
  

USC (4-3, 3-2) QB Sam Darnold threw for 235 yards and five touchdowns in the runaway victory over Arizona (2-5, 0-4).

A Troy Williams touchdown run with 3:18 left put the game out of reach as Utah (6-1, 3-1) edged upset-minded Oregon State (2-4, 1-2).
 

Stanford (4-2, 2-2) scored 17 unanswered points in the second half to come from behind over Notre Dame minus Heisman Trophy candidate Christian McCaffrey.
 

Colorado (5-2, 3-1) RB Phillip Lindsay rushed for 219 yards and three touchdowns in the home win over Arizona State (5-2, 2-2).

Washington State (4-2, 3-0) won its fourth consecutive game, outscoring UCLA (6-1, 3-1) by 11 points in the final quarter.
