In a week where rivalries began to take center stage and a battle of Top-10 teams stole the headlines, the Pac-12 and Big Ten provided plenty of excitement in Week 7.

Hawkeye QB C.J. Beathard accounted for three touchdowns (two passing, one rushing) as Iowa (5-2, 3-1) held off Purdue’s (3-3, 1-2) late charge in the fourth quarter.

WR Solomon Vault’s 95-yard kick return touchdown put Northwestern (3-3, 2-1) in the lead for good late in the 3rd quarter as the Wildcats stunned Michigan State (2-4, 0-3) in East Lansing.
