P
PARENT SERVICES AT LEVI’S® STADIUM
The facilities in place for new parents visiting Levi’s® Stadium are undoubtedly on par with the best in all of professional sports, if not the best overall. Specifically, Levi’s® Stadium already provides the following services:
» Outlets for plugging in breast pumps
» Counter space for diaper changing
» Sinks and trash cans
» HVAC temperature maintained at a level which would be comfortable in a dressing room type of environment
» Privacy from the passing crowd
» Display and/or sound of the live game
» Free WiFi and strong cellular service
Private family restrooms are located throughout the stadium on all concourses, Club and Suite Levels. Family restrooms are fully equipped with all of the above, except for the “comfortable armchairs” and “lockers for renting”. In fact, every restroom in the stadium – men’s and women’s – includes at least one bathroom stall that features a baby-changing table as well as sinks and trash cans, a climate-controlled environment and privacy from passing crowds. For those new parents who do prefer a more private experience with their newborn child, there are three Dignity Health First Aid Stations at Levi’s® Stadium (adjacent to Section 122, Section 323 and SAP Tower Atrium) that provide for comfortable armchairs along with private areas for breastfeeding and diaper changing.
Additionally, children under two (2) years of age are allowed entry without a ticket if accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket and must share the adult’s seat. Levi’s® Stadium would like to highlight some additional policies geared to improve the experience of new parents attending events at the stadium:
» Diaper bags accompanying a child are permitted, but are subject to search and will be tagged.
» Levi’s® Stadium strongly advices that stickers, a name tag and additional information be pinned to the clothing of young children that may require assistance.
» Wristbands that can be given to children with the parents contact information, as well as seat location, are available at any of Levi’s® Stadium Guest Services Stations located on the main and upper concourse.
» Strollers are welcome at Levi’s® Stadium, but are not allowed to be stored in an aisle or under a seat. Strollers may, however, be checked in at the following Guest Service Stations.
» Guest Service Station located on the outer perimeter of the main concourse above Toyota Gate F near sections 105/106.
» Guest Service Station located on the outer perimeter of the main concourse above Dignity Health Gate C near sections 129/130.
» Guest Service Station located on the outer perimeter of the upper concourse near sections 308/309.
» Security guards are regularly trained on what items are allowed/prohibited to enter Levi’s® Stadium, including breast pumps.
After thoroughly evaluating the products in the marketplace, Levi’s® Stadium recently ordered four lactation stations as a pilot program that will launch in 2016, possibly in time for Super Bowl 50 if the construction schedule allows. Levi’s® Stadium is always looking for new ways to better serve our guests and like the idea that the presence of these stations should help raise awareness among patrons about the availability of public facilities for new parents.
