Pricing Announced For Reserved Seating In New Stadium
The Santa Clara Stadium Authority and Legends Sales & Marketing announced today the launch of reserved seat sales for 49ers season ticket holders in the new Santa Clara Stadium, marking Phase II of the seat allocation process. All seats that are not in the Club or in suites are designated as reserved seats and represent the huge majority of seats in the new stadium.
With the launch, Legends outlined the pricing for the Stadium Builders Licenses (SBLs) that are required in order to purchase season ticket packages. All sellable seats in the new stadium will have an SBL associated with the purchase of season tickets. An SBL is a one-time cost that gives buyers control of their seats for 49ers home games. They are good for the life of the building and have additional benefits, including priority to purchase tickets for most other events that will be held at the stadium.
A great majority of SBL seats range from $2,000-$6,000, with a very limited number priced at $12,000. In the reserved seat sections, one of the major differences from Candlestick Park, where the 49ers play now, is the seat sight lines as well as the seats’ proximity to the field. Over two-thirds of the reserved seats are in the lower bowl. Now at Candlestick, only half of the total seats are in the lower bowl.
As part of today’s announcement, the San Francisco 49ers announced season ticket pricing for the reserved seats at the new venue. Game prices will range from $85 to $200 in the reserved sections, pricing that compares with ticket costs established at other new NFL stadiums. Nearly 50 percent of tickets will be $100.00 or less beginning with the 2014 season. Legends will also be able to market a three-year price freeze on season tickets at the new stadium.
“We anticipate a lot of excitement about reserved seats because we have worked hard to establish pricing that is accessible for the majority of 49ers fans,” said Al Guido, Vice President of Sales and Service for Legends, the company selected by the Stadium Authority to market stadium seating.
“We encourage buyers to compare the prices with other new NFL buildings, as we believe the SBLs and game tickets, as well as our three-year price freeze, represent value.”
Legends is offering financing, with a number of ways to structure the loans, including short-term installment plans and 10-year term financing. In addition, customers can pay off the balance with no interest on or before March 1st of 2014.
Today’s announcement coincided with a mailing from Legends and the Stadium Authority to 49ers season ticket holders explaining reserved seat SBL and ticket pricing, as well as details of the seat allocation process.
Current season ticket holders can begin purchasing their allocated seats Monday, June 11. They have the option of making an appointment at the Preview Center in Santa Clara, or they can call their designated sales representative and complete the process over the phone.
